2. Was Bruno a loving and playful pet? Why, then, did he have to be sent away?
Answer:- Yes, Bruno was a loving, gentle, and playful pet who was deeply attached to the family. However, as he grew very large, it became difficult and unsafe to keep him at home, so he was sent to the Mysore Zoo.
3. How was the problem of what to do with Bruno finally solved?
Answer:- The author's wife could not bear being separated from Bruno. She obtained permission from the zoo superintendent to bring him back. A special island with a moat was built in their compound, where Bruno lived happily and safely.
